Gingrich Just Won't Quit!

At what point does it become unhealthy for the GOP to keep up the infighting?

Is Gingrich trying to have it both ways?

Gingrich having it both ways?

I gained a lot of respect for Gingrich when he quoted Regan in a debate saying that rule number one is not to speak disparigingly about your fellow republicans.  I believe that when you are debating within your own party, it's selfish to attack the others and essentially errode the overal credibility of the party itself.  Of course you have to be competitive but it's easy enough to focus on what makes you better or different or focus on your own plan and let people chose who they have the most confidence in.

Now that Newt is slipping in the Iowa projections we're starting to see more and more negative ads coming out of his corner.  Is he trying to have his cake and eat it too?  What's your opinion?  Should it be party before self, or every man for himself?

Newt is under fire, as usual, regarding his previous marriages.  How important are the issues of fidelity and divorce to you when you go to the ballot box?

Gingrich questioned on gay marriage by a gay man: Video

What answer was this guy looking for? "Ok, I'll just change my mind."

Although I think the whole gay marriage issue is a ridiculous argument based solely on verbiage and could be resolved in a matter of hours if a few basic assumptions were agreed upon, I'm proud of Newt for not pandering to someone or compromising himself.  The fact is, gay or straight, if you're going to cast your precious vote for the leader of the free world based on that single issue and nothing else, you should leave America immediately.

Gingrich and Perry not on Virginia ballot

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will not appear on the GOP primary ballot in Virginia, joining Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

Does this concern anyone else?  Two front runners can't get 10k signatures to be on the ballot?  Is a sign of public opinion or a lack of organization on the candidates part?  Either way, not good news for the GOP.
