Mitt Romney surprised a lot people as he came into this debate calm, cool, and prepared while the President appeared aloof and inconvenienced.  What were the highlights of the debate for you?  My favorite part was when Romney coined the term "Trickle Down Government."

Romney's Confusing course correction... Really?

Gotta love the main stream media taking issue with Mitt Romney for how he criticizes Obamacare.  Call it a tax, call it a mandate, call it a penalty, who cares?  The bottom line is that it's bad for the healthcare system, bad for the economy, and bad for all of us tax payers.  It's sad that that the majority of our under-educated country can't even see it for what it is.

Obama Chides Governors for Education Cuts

I applaud them!  Why would we want our Federal Government involved with the education our youth?! They can't even get social security right.  If you want to protect our children's future, leave it up to state, and local governments and allow the private sector to distribute curriculum through the use of technology.  More importantly, put the responsibility for our children where it belongs, on the parents!

What was your reaction to the SOTU address by President Obama last night?

Obama makes a recess appointment

Why do we bother preaching a system of checks and balances all over the world when the reality is that we build in loopholes for seemingly every situation.  I understand the need to allow the President to have the authority to make appointments during recesses but that should only be used in times of emergency.  In this case, Obama was unable to appoint Richard Cordray when going through the proper legal channels.  Essentially, the proper channel said "no."  Rather than appoint another candidate to fill the void until a proper appointment could be made, he plugs in the same guy that the system he represents rejected.  Dirty pool.
